I like that penners...I like it a lot... well apart from when you mentioned social media then I gave you a sly wanker sign from under the desk... but otherwise the rest was spot on

Re: Is Sahko maybe the hottest property in WORLD football
the thing is about players like Sakho and Adrian is that they came to the club and just got it. they got what we are all about, the history, the fans etc. they didnt come out with the usual "stepping stone" shit, or saw us as a last resort or a step down. they both genuinely looked pleased to have joined us.

getting on social media and doing the crossed hammers, thanking the fans etc. Like I said, they just GOT it. See players that act like this can then afford to have a few shit games and the fans wont get on their backs.

Without going over the top, is Sakho on a par with costa in terms of impact for a brand new prem league player. He just looks like he could score everytime he gets the ball.

Are we close to having Carroll AND Sakho performing together and both fit and well? Now that is a mouth-watering prospect.

I still am getting a kick out of watching that finish.

Makes me really really miss being there.

Re: Is Sahko maybe the hottest property in WORLD football
As good as he has been he still strikes me as being a little raw, as if he is almost playing on pure adrenalin alone. His impact is reminding me of Macca's in 85, an unknown lighting up the top flight. If he can sustain this form and the coaching staff/Teddy fine tune 1 or 2 things in his game we will have a real asset on our hands. At last!

Lighting pace, strong in the air, always going for goals.
Fuck me what a player. A defender's worst nightmare!
So fucking glad he's with us.

He's good but many have come here with a similar impact, Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba spring to mind.

You almost got that right, it was Sunderland wouldn't sell BFS Connor Wickham.

Got to be one of the hottest emerging striking talents in the world. Doing the business at the highest level now.

Expect the true giants of European football to be linked with him now.

Re: Is Sahko maybe the hottest property in WORLD football
He seems to me to be the sort of player who'll give us some loyalty because we've given him his big chance which in turn has got him in the international set up, so hopefully I'm right.

Us doing well doesn't hurt though and after years of not giving a shit about most players at the club, there are several at the moment who I fucking love and he tops the bill.

Hard working fucker who has a touch of class and doesn't seem to dive. Makings of a legend.

You just know that if Spurs were to bid for him their initial offer would be for 2 million...

"Is Sahko maybe the hottest property in WORLD football"

Grow up.

At least, that's what Ronaldo7, Messi and Qatari hot-tub workers are saying.

Re: Is Sahko maybe the hottest property in WORLD football
and to think we only signed him because Stoke wouldn't sell BFS Peter Crouch, mind boggles.

Does he have a 4 or 5 year contract?

I love the way he bursts through defences! What a player!

Hottest property? Not yet but I would imagine he is worth a hell of a lot more than we paid now.
